Bolts Play in Tough Elmira Shootout

Two BC Bolts teams played in this past weekend's Elmira Shootout, where, for a relatively small tournament, the competition was very solid. The 9s played teams from Elmira, Rochester and Syracuse, while the 7s played Rochester, Scranton, Syracuse and Waverly teams.

The 9s were slightly short-handed from the regular roster, but despite all four of their games being close midway through the second halves, they didn't get a win in the tourney, a first for this AAU season. The 7s won their first two games, lost one by a point at the buzzer, and were outmatched by Syracuse Select.
