The Binghamton 4/5 team took on Whitney Point-5 Thursday night at Roosevelt Elementary, and by dominating the boards, Binghamton came away with a 43-32 win.
Binghamton collected a whopping 82 rebounds in the contest, led by Nate Gaster's 31 boards. Suehaidee Masso collected 11 rebounds, Anthony Ferranti had 10, Austin Becker-Harris had 8 and Casey Walsh had 7.
Binghamton built a 14-2 early lead and held a 16-6 edge after the first quarter. Whitney Point battled back to tie it midway through the second quarter (18-18), but from there, Binghamton pulled away, its lead hovering in the 8- to 10-point area most of the rest of the contest.
