Kickoff Tournament Results

The Binghamton Travel Basketball teams played in the Slim Sylvester League Kickoff Tournament Saturday, November 20, and the teams went a combined 5-1 on the day.

Binghamton 4-5
The Binghamton 4-5 team won its three games, scoring 23, 30 and 32 points. In all three of the games, Binghamton won by 20 points or more. Here are the statistics that were recorded from each of the games:

Binghamton 5-6
The Binghamton 5-6 squad won two games by solid margins (23-6 vs. Maine-Endwell Gold-6; 40-11 vs. Chenango Valley Red-5) and lost a close game (17-13) to a tough Homer-6 squad. In that game, Binghamton trailed 8-3 in the early going but tied the game at 10-10 with about 4 minutes remaining. Binghamton missed several breakaway lay-ups in the contest, a very winnable game.
