The Rage-8 squad (plus Nicky Snyder) tuned up for this weekend's start of the Owego Modified League with its second scrimmage in a week. This time the Southern Tier Storm (Corning/Elmira/Horseheads) travelled to Roosevelt Elementary in Binghamton.
The Owego League games will be 20-minute running-time halves, save for the final two minutes of the game. On Thursday, the scrimmage consisted of four of those 20-minute periods of play. With seven of its roster players on hand, Rage held the upper hand when it was finished, 108-63.
Interesting was that three of Rage's inside players (Jake Thompson, Trevor Borchardt and Nate Gaster) each ended with an identical 26 points, 12 rebounds. Thompson notched a triple-double, adding 11 assists to his line.
