BC Bolts 3-on-3 Championships

Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17
Indoor courts, Binghamton, New York

* $120 per team
* Each registered player will receive a tournament t-shirt (if registered by August 2)
* Winning teams will receive a team trophy
* Boys divisions: 16U; 14U (two ages per division)
* Girls divisions: 14U (two ages per division)
* We are using 2 indoor glass backboards, so divisions will be small - in other words, space will be very limited, and team accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
* 3 players per team minimum (4 players max); players must appear on original roster
* Teams are guaranteed 3 games

* Players must be prepared to prove their age the weekend of the tournament (inability to prove age may disqualify the player)
* Teams must wear matching uniforms/colors (uniforms are not required)
* 20-minute time limit on games
* Games start on the half-hour
* First possession: coin flip
* Games to 15, win by 1 (2 points for 3-pointers)
* Choice on free throws: 1 point from regulation FT (miss and retain possession)
* Choice on free throws: 2 points from 3-point arc (miss and forfeit possession)
* Must take ball back to 3-point line on change of possession (hits rim or not)
* Overtime: possession by coin flip; sudden death
* Coaching the teams is not allowed: Let the kids play
* We will have volunteer officials and volunteer score-keepers
* There will be a $2 admission fee for all non-players (ages 9 and under are free; no children admitted without an adult (18 years old)
* We will sell water

* No technical fouls will be called; teams will receive one warning. A second call for unsportsmanlike conduct will result in the offending team having 1 point deducted from their score. A third violation will result in the offending team forfeiting their game. (Spectators who exhibit unsportsmanlike behavior will receive one warning. On a second incident, they will be asked to leave the premises for that day's events.)

* Teams must submit a team name and a roster, by mail, which must include the following: Each player's full name and age the player will be on the weekend of the tournament.
* Rosters must include each player's (adult sizes) t-shirt size (each player will receive a tournament t-shirt, as long as they provide their size with registration - those who do not provide a size may not receive a t-shirt)
* Rosters must include an e-mail address and a phone number for the best contact person
