A short-handed Binghamton-6 team outscored visiting Homer 12-11 in the first quarter and was within 6 points at halftime, but eventually a very short bench and early foul trouble caught up, as Homer ran away with this one, 81-51 on the short Psych Center gym.
Playing with just seven, Binghamton saw its leading scorer, Devin Young, pick up his third foul in the second quarter, and Matt Collins-Pringle, who had 14 rebounds, 5 blocked shots and 4 steals in this game, had three fouls earlier in the second and missed a fair amount of playing time.
In the third quarter and into the fourth, Homer's quick passing and fast-break opportunities made the difference against a tired Binghamton squad.
