Bing 4/5 has solid 1st half against Endicott

The Binghamton 4/5 team took on a very aggressive Endicott-5 squad at Roosevelt Monday night, and through a half of basketball, beat Endicott in all facets of the game, leading at halftime, 14-11.

But a fourth-quarter Endicott full-court press proved to be too much for Binghamton, as Endicott scored 16-straight points to pull away for a 45-25 victory.

In the first quarter, Nate Gaster, Kyeem Holmes and Anthony Ferranti scored field goals and were aided by a Roberto Jensen free throw, giving Binghamton a 7-5 lead after one. In the second quarter, Gaster, Austin Becker-Harris and Casey Walsh scored from the field, and Binghamton held a 14-11 edge at intermission.

After the break, Gaster scored inside and Jensen added two more free throws to give Binghamton an 18-13 lead, but Endicott chipped away. Gaster gave Binghamton its last lead at 21-19 before Endicott scored 10-straight points to end the third quarter with a 29-21 lead.
