The Johnson City 5/6 team broke out to a 10-0 first-quarter lead en route to a 49-25 win over Binghamton 4/5 Tuesday night at Roosevelt Elementary.
Binghamton surged in the second quarter, cutting the deficit to 15-8. In the third quarter, Binghamton scored first, hanging tough, down by just 9 points (24-15). But in that same quarter, JC put together a 13-3 run to extend the lead to 37-18.
