The girls played a game Saturday morning (December 26) against a team from Susquehanna Valley, coming away with a hard-fought 22-18 victory.
Binghamton's slow start saw them behind 6-0 midway through the first quarter before Suehaidee Masso scored on an inside basket. Masso hit a free throw toward the end of the quarter to get Binghamton within 6-3.
Gracie Jensen's inside basket just into the second quarter got Binghamton within 6-5 before SV scored again (8-5). Masso made another free throw, and Rory Pelella scored at the end of the half to tie the game at 8-each.
In the second half, it was Masso's muscle underneath that purt Binghamton over the top, as she scored 10 of her game-high 14 points after intermission.
