Binghamton 5-6 White hosted Whitney Point-6 Thursday night at Calvin Coolidge, coming away with a 53-34 win. Binghamton led 15-8 after the first quarter, and 29-20 at halftime. The lead was built to 45-27 after three quarters of play.
Binghamton won on its rebounding strength and solid defensive games on the inside from Nate Gaster (11 blocked shots - no, that's not a typo - he really had eleven blocks), Kyeem Holmes (3 steals, 3 blocks) and Yosef Baker (3 blocks). In all, Binghamton turned away 18 Whitney Point shots, while collecting 13 steals.
